This is a brand new tournament that will take things to the next level for the sport and for our sponsor/partners. The Malibu Pro Team Challenge will pit the top wakeboard manufacturers and their pro teams against each other for a $25,000 “winner take all” competition.
The competition will include three (3) different disciplines of the sport – a double-up contest, a traditional on-the-water contest and a winch powered pool gap / rail jam. It will take place at location that is world renown as a watersports “theme” park… Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, Florida.
In addition to major local and national promotional and advertising support, the Pro Team Challenge will be a nationally televised event.
The Teams:
The competing teams will be representing the top wakeboard manufacturers in the sport. Scheduled to compete are pro riders representing Hypelite, Liquid Force, CWB, Ronix and Gator.
The Prize:
The winning team will split a $25,000 grand prize which will make the Malibu Pro Team Challenge one of the biggest purses in wakeboarding (for a single event).

Friday, August 10 th – 7pm-9pm - Nighttime Double-Up Contest
Saturday, August 11 th –
- 9am-3pm – Traditional on-the-water boat competition
- 6pm-10pm – Wakeboard Rail Jam
- 10:30pm – Awards Ceremony and Live Concert
