In 2004, Geiger Media created, organized and produced the Texas Wakeboard Tour…a regional tournament series whose ultimate goals where to promote the sport of wakeboarding in the Southwest. The series consisted of three (3) stops in 2004 – one each in the San Antonio/Austin, Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth markets.
The 2005 TWT series consisted of tournaments in the same Texas markets and also included an exciting new event, a nighttime Double-up Contest and Pro Tour Pre-Party held “under-the-lights” at a private lake in Fort Worth.
2006 will be the beginning of a three (3) year plan to expand the series outside of Texas and to a national level. The first non-Texas event is scheduled to take place in Atlanta, GA in June.
